Never know what God has in store? This week I was encouraged to assume responsibility of the prayer team at NMSI. And I am with joy accepting this position, I am glad that Jesus is here with me because on my own I would fail at doing this. But through Him I am confident that we will be able to facilitate this prayer team to new levels that will benefit all of our missionaries both on and off the field. would you stand beside me in prayer on this? And please any helpful comments and suggestions are welcome. This is a new challenge for me, and I feel blessed and ready.

Well today was the day, I did devotions for our conference and did a 2 hour teaching session on prayer, I felt very confident up there, (of course I did get on my knees before I left my room) these participants sure were on the stick, they interacted well and had some very good observations, at times I had to let them know that I felt I was the student and they were the teachers.

I told part of my story today, of how I am a product of answered prayer, it was hard because it brought so many memories back, some good, but a lot bad. one of the good though was mom & dad, I haven`t thought about them in a while.

well, I`m not much of a righter so that's it for now.

India, wow, half way around the world and still I find more people to love. now I know why the song says Jesus loves all the people of the world. they are all his people and he really wants to know them and them to know him.

were having a great time, I love being used!!!!

Honduras 2009 Y/H, It Was A Challenge

On Monday Oct, 19 we left for Honduras with a team of 6, to do youth leadership seminars, first a few tidbits.

• it was cold, in the 60`s, not normal
• also it was dry, we did get a little rain one night, but not much, and this is there rainy season.

OK, we went to a school on Tuesday, and they had prepared a show for us with students from there schools, we were not expecting to be honored before even doing anything, but God works in mysterious ways. and after the show we talked in their classrooms, that is when I saw Gods reason for blessing us with the show. all of us shared, about ourselves and Jesus and it was good. I was amazed to see bible verses on the walls of these classrooms, and even more amazed to have the 2Nd grade class sing to us and then recite bible verses. and the blessing did not stop,they asked us to return, witch we did on Thursday and spoke again. then Tuesday evening I spoke to 14 people on commitment and character building for a youth leader,boy! I found that as I relied on God more, he brought his message out and I got to be the vessel he used, that is thrilling. if you haven`t done something like this, TRY IT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

we had great team dynamics, we all in our preparation's were able to overlap each other and leave a lead in to each others assignments. and we had prepared separately, the only way this could happen is that the Lord was in charge, and He was there. 1 example was Sunday morning before service's, I talk to different group from Tue about again character building, and some of its attributes, and told them they would here much more in the message, our team leader Ryan delivered that message and really hit on all the points we briefly gave them. I talked to Ryan about this just now in fact, and we both believe that Gods desire to grow them as leaders was indeed met. they were hungry and each member of this team was used by God to feed them.

By the way I should tell you there was a lot of fun with participants of these conferences, I will list a couple of them.

• volley ball, (after playing, we gathered everyone for a short message from Kane, a member of our team, this led to 3 kids excepting Christ)
• team building games, (body parts, cups on a string,ring around the chair, skits, spider web)

Today was a wonderful day, even though it was only 60 degrees, good conversations with friends, and a chance meeting with 2 people I knew but didn`t know, and oh yea, we were at the eye doctors for deb and while I`m waiting for her and talking with these people in walks my doctor, and she asked if I had a new doctor in Florida, and I had to say no, I think I will need to call her, she gave that look that convics me, I need to do better at taking care of myself. but it was good and God was with me, I sure love God. well more meetings tomorrow. all for now

I think I actually accomplished thigs today, but I still am not ready for Michigan this weekend, and feeling a little discouraged in no response from people I want to see when I get there, well, just going to have to trust God on that.

Another weekend in the books,Had some great alone time with Deb before I gave her up to my daughter. yep I have to batch it for the next 4 days, then on Fri I head north pick up Deb and continue on to Michigan for 10 days. we will be support raising, Deb will have a minor eye surgery on wed the 7th. back to work, its Monday morning, we pray as a team today,yea, I always like this part.see you next time.

Its Friday, time to go home and relax? Oh I think not,I need to make preperations for our support raising trip to Michigan 1 week from today.Sure glad Gods hand is in that (support) because mine would say no way can you ask people for money, not the way things are today,but I can, In 2 Corinthians chapter 8 talks about encouraging genorosity, verse 7 says But just as you excell in everything --- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us --- see that you also excell in this grace of giving. so to not ask would be taking your joy of giving away, so challenge me to ask.Of course have me share what I do and how your gift is going to be used. just call or better yet, ask to see me.
