I need You

Did you know God has a place for you in missions, and you will be blessed by Him when you respond
In Philippians 4:17-19, Paul said to the Philippians after receiving much needed financial support : " Not that I seek the gift itself but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.....and my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus "
God blesses all who respond to Him and use their money on earth to build mansions in heaven. I ask you to partner with me and win souls for Christ.
I am in ministry at New Mission Systems International, (NMSI) but before I tell you about NMSI let me give you a little back ground on how I arrived at this point of my life.
My motivation to go into ministry started several years ago, I had been on several short term mission trips, and I thought it was neat to be able to help others, but in 2003 I went to Florida to do some ministry work with a friend, and on my way home my car broke down and the result was that I had to use my entire months budget money to pay for the repairs. It was then that I started to recognize the importance of prayer. We prayed for provision to pay our bills for that month, and God provided, (we received an envelope with the exact amount of the repairs in it, and no one knew what had happened) I also realized through this that we must give thanks and give praise to God through prayer.
Not long ago I was in Honduras on a short term trip, doing daily devotions, everyday talking about having faith and really trusting God. It was then that I realized I had been called to missions full time. But it was 2008 and our economy was going downhill fast. But I had been called! And I had to step out in faith, just as I was encouraging the team I was with to do. Put all your trust in God. And He is faithful.

NMSI is a missionary sending agency; they equip potential missionaries by having them go through an 8 week program called C.O.A.T. (community, orientation and assessment training). They go through a spiritual inventory, and other programs that prepare them spiritually for the field. (Visit us on the web at www.nmsi.org )
At NMSI, I have the privilege of leading the prayer department team; some of my duties are to host prayer events at our home office, and at times, on the field. Our team is also responsible to pray for all the missionaries of NMSI. And to communicate and receive the requests that come in from around the world. We believe that prayer is the most important relationship we have with God.
Most Recently I did a 24 hour prayer event; it was a special time where we prayed over requests that came to us from many different countries. We prayed for request that covered projects, to individual needs. All were involved as we used modern technology (video chat) so field people could pray with U.S .based people. (At 5am I was able to pray with our missionaries to Thailand)
Last year
I was in Gabon, Africa, I was with an aids education team, doing seminars, during our free time we went with a mobile medical team that travels on Saturdays to a different village to offer a health clinic. My part was going to be helping with eye exams, but someone came in and asked for prayer. As a result she accepted Jesus that day, and by the end of that day 6 people had been prayed for, 2 accepted Jesus for the first time. The team leader told me that in all the time they had been doing these clinics, this was the first time that anyone had come in asking for prayer.

(Pastor Jacob led this woman through the prayer of salvation, while I and two other members of our team prayed in intercession, the women accepted Jesus as her personal savoir, and this took place in a small rural village outside of Libreville Gabon in Central Africa!)
The rewards of serving are worth all sacrifices we go through, it’s worth it, and the needs are there! Not everyone can go, but everyone can be involved.
